1. (eManual-1): 'Breakthrough Intimacy -

Sad to Happy through Closeness' (PDF on CD) 324 p   $ 20.00

This eManual presents the concepts and method of Lifetrack therapy through examples of 6 couples, who have contributed to the development of Lifetrack Therapy over 30 years.

- Andy, a CEO became depressed twice, first in his career crisis and again in his marital crisis, overcoming depression through 'Breakthrough Intimacy' each time. He inspired many of Lifetrack conceptual models.

- Dr. Y., a brilliant scientist with borderline personality disorder, was hospitalized with suicidal depression and paranoid delusions, and was transformed in 45 days, remaining well adjusted through subsequent 25 years.

- Mike, an executive, who was hospitalized after suicide attempts on an 'impossible job', transformed himself thorough classic 4 stages in 3 months, returning to the same job and flourished like a different person.

- Ben has been chronically depressed on two daily medications over 7-years, treated by 7 psychiatrists. He transformed himself through 'Breakthrough Intimacy' with his wife, liberating himself from drugs.

- Terry was severely depressed over 7 months on 6 daily medications and was practically bed ridden. She transformed herself through 'Breakthrough Intimacy' with her husband and went off all drugs in 3 months.

- Jane, with borderline personality disorder broke out of borderline personality in 6 months through 'Breakthrough Intimacy' with her boy friend, and married him after 5 years of near ideal adjustment.

The book presents actual patient graphs to illustrate dynamic process of change with actual testimonials.

2. (eManual-2): 'Breakthrough Intimacy -

Conquering Depression' (PDF on CD) 448 p      $ 95.00

Mike, an executive in his 30's became suicidal in acute depression during a career crisis and was successfully treated with Lifetrack therapy, emerging transformed, well-adjusted after 3 months in the same difficult circumstances that had originally triggered his suicidal depression.

After 6 years of excellent adjustment, he became depressed again, developing recurrent or chronic depression during the subsequent 6 years until it was accidentally discovered by the therapist 12 years after the first treatment.

The second Lifetrack therapy was immediately conducted entirely over the phone with the help of the Internet, with Mike again reaching a level of adjustment better than ever before.

Mike's case offered a rare opportunity to document complete transformation and relapse, shedding light on the mechanism of relapse and its prevention.

This eManual analyzes Mike's case in depth and in vivid detail as it evolved over 13 years, simulating actual sessions with his graphs and their interpretations.

(PowerPoint Presentation 90 min.)

This presentation demonstrates how Lifetrack Therapy routinely cures borderline personality disorder, often in 6 months.

Lifetrack concepts, methods, and case examples are presented to illustrate how the process of transformation takes place through actual daily self-rating graphs of the patients and their partners. The goal of this presentation is to show you how to...

- Recognize strength and integrity behind the chaotic and dramatic presentation of BPD symptoms.

- Recognize the central issue of borderline personality as profound defense against closeness.

- Demonstrate to the patient and his/her partner through their own daily self-rating graphs as to how their effort to get closer provokes defense (sharp symptom spikes, crisis, and setback).

- Demonstrate repeatedly that their crises are short-lived (2-3 days on the outside) and recovery from setback can bring them closer than ever before.

- Reassure the patient couples that their closenes can advance without limit, while defense has limited resources (as shown in sharp but short-lived spikes) and can be exhausted by repeated mobilizations.

- Demonstrate through their own daily self-rating graphs that successive spikes of symtpoms weaken progressively in its intensity and become less frequent, while their closeness advance far beyond their previous maximum experiences.

- Reassure and encourage borderline personality patients that their many fine qualities will endure and shine, after their formidable defense is overcome through the process of getting closer to their partners.
